  • Girth 278.5cm @ 1m Old bracket is Rigidoporus ulmarius Crown thinning but fairly healthy Needs halo pruning surrounding saplings to allow low growth. Impressive tree.

  • Tree location is not located on map correctly by more than 100m. Work to retain and safeguard tree with ATF being done. Tree mapped correct location as 0084 on Openstreetmaps at: https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/5331932313

  • Sorry I stand corrected! That Field Maple is in the correct location as verified on 25 Sept 2018 with Russell Miller on site. It is tagged 0613. It has been pollarded and it very well hidden off Petersham Road by surrounding sapplings that will be slowly cleared over the coming years (halo pruning). The other Field Maple 0284 is far larger in height and will be added to the ancient tree inventory.
