This girth measurement does not do this tree justice. My estimate around the base is around 15m and I wonder if the '1' is missing? This is a massive multi-stemmed tree. The information panel says it was planted more than 100 years ago and is now about 25m tall. It stands at the entrance to the churchyard on Church Island.
