  • Unfortunately this tree has died, it is still standing but appears to have no life in it. The bulging at the top of the trunk is thought to be a graft scar.

  • Talking to the National Trust Ranger, they believed the tree was a graft of a Manor Ash.

  • In 2020/21 the tree started to collapse and was dismantled for safety reasons as the field was used by grazing cattle
