  • This specimen of Quercus canariensis (Mirbeck's or Algerian Oak) is a fine semi mature tree showing great vigour. Unfortunately it is suffering from much competition and shade from common trees nearby. This is a rare species generally it is virtually the only and probably much the finest example in East Yorks. and one of the areas most notable trees.
