Previous comment asked: "As this tree is shown right by the Old Oak, has one of the oak's fragments been recorded and placed here by mistake". The answer to this is No. It is an entirely separate tree that was planted, or germinated naturally, after 1921 as an aerial photograph taken in that year clearly shows it as being absent (see https://britainfromabove.org.uk/cy/image/EPW006047 ) .
