Oak suffered a major failure in approximately 2019 (see updated images)
Further changes - a section of trunk wall has now collapsed outwards, leaving the hollow interior fully exposed. As a result, the girth is now reduced from the original 11.1m to 9.5m.
It would be correct to state that the tree is now fragmented rather than standing. That description explains the girth reduction.
