See "The Yews of Alice Holt" by Toby Hindson, Ancient Yew Group 1998 (rev. 2008), available online as a pdf. TheGPS location given is 51 10.87 N 00 51.45 W.
Quotation from Hindson: "The stump is inferred from a dip in the ground and sections of yew buttress either side of the dip. The base of the yew, if it was a single tree was 17 to 19 feet in girth. All of the hollow yew stumps found so far have created this characteristic dip in the ground under the main trunk, so its existence is taken as good evidence for a single large yew." If he is correct in this surmise, this would have been the largest yew in Alice Holt Forest and almost certainly ancient. It was apparently felled in the late Forties, to make way for commercial forestry.
I had a search for it in April 2024, but the location given has had forestry work done on it subsequent to 1998 and IMHO it would be impossible to ID any remnants left, if any.
