According to modern pagan belief -"Wicca"- if you pass a sickly child or small animal through the ring that the tree has created, the vigour of the oak will strengthen it. Apparently the act needs to be done more than once, back and forth three times. There would be a spell to be recited -has anyone come across it? No sign of offerings when visited in September 2024.
