27th December 2021. Probably due to Storm Arwen in late November, this tree has fallen, though some roots may still be attached. The Holly, Rowan and others growing inside the tree are alive but likely to be cut as the whole structure now lies across the lane. This is very sad. Having grown up at Satterthwaite, I have visited this tree over my lifetime (62 years).
