There is no such tree at this location or nearby. Rather, the Grid reference defines a whole 1 km square and it's possible that this is a duplicate of 128580 in Hatchlands Park at TQ063521 (the girth measurements are approximately similar). Note that this is a legacy report, dated 1988 -the actual date given, being New Year's Day, is also questionable.
The original grid reference reported was TQ0600052000, which is an arable field on the east side of Ripley Road.
This looks like a Hungarian oak, but there weren't any acorns in October 2025 so I'm not sure.
