2008 comment: "Hollow and forked tree. Lost its centre stem. Has large lateral root." It fell across the footpath shortly afterwards, and had to be removed. The tree as an organism was still just about alive in June 2024, having put up reaction shoots from its rootplate -which were then badly affected by dieback. It's fairly certain to die in 2024, or perhaps 2025.
